At Moosehaven, our gardens thrive thanks to residents like Maggie Lazuka, who lovingly tends to the rose garden and other flower beds across campus.
One morning, Maggie and fellow resident Fred Fleet noticed the gazebo in the rose garden needed a little care. Fred offered to stain it himself if Moosehaven could supply the materials. Soon after, Melanie Fell, wife of our Chief of Security, donated a lovely stepping stone to complete the scene.
This small act of teamwork brought new life to the rose garden and showed how a little care – and a lot of heart – go a long way.
