This year’s Law Enforcement Memorial at Moosehaven was a powerful and moving tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Officers from across the region once again gathered in solemn remembrance, standing side by side to honor their fallen comrades.
Representatives from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, Green Cove Springs Police Department, Orange Park Police Department, and Clay County District Schools Police were joined by fellow agencies in a united show of respect and gratitude. Clay County Sherriff’s Office has been honoring the fallen for around 25+ years. Together, they honored not only the lives lost, but the enduring strength of the families who carry their legacy forward.
As flags flew at half-staff and names were spoken with reverence, the Moosehaven community stood in quiet support, paying tribute to the courage, service, and sacrifice of our local heroes. It was a heartfelt reminder that while these individuals may be gone, their impact and memory live on.
