Eagle Scout Project

Thank you to Dante Camarda, a Boy Scout from Troop 20 in Orange Park, Florida, for choosing Moosehaven for his Eagle Scout project. As part of his journey towards achieving the highest rank in scouting, he planned and executed a service project to beautify our pavilion with fresh paint and plants to give residents a more inviting central gathering place.

He raised $600 to cover the costs of materials, including paint, plants, gardening tools, and other supplies, and recruited volunteers from his troop to help complete the work.

Eagle Scout is the highest achievement or rank attainable in the Scouts BSA program of the Boy Scouts of America. Since its inception in 1911, only four percent of Scouts have earned this rank after a lengthy review process.

Thank you, Dante, and the Boy Scouts of Troop 20! The residents are already enjoying the beautiful outdoor space.
