Executive Director Faye Stevens celebrated her 30th Anniversary as a Moosehaven employee April 26
with an ice cream and cake party in the Michigan Building. Other employees with thirty or more years of
service were also honored. All residents and employees were invited to the celebration. Phillip Garner,
with 40 years service, is shown speaking about his experience at Moosehaven. The honorees, with their

Staffer Sheila Jones was the waitress for Marian and Pete Conn at the monthly "Diner" in the Michigan Building, May 12. (Residents are served delicious fancy dinners at low prices).
Norman Vertigan, Governor of Moosehaven's Opportunity Lodge # 3001, distributes prize money to costume winners at the May 13 Hobo Dance in the Michigan Building. The Lodge sponsored the dinner and dance for all residents. Winners, left to right, were Dottie Benson (3rd place), Isabella Meade (2nd place), Marvin Gamble (1st place), and Verna Wilson (4th place).
Renovation of the "C Wing" of Life Care Center (for Assisted Living) continues rapidly, with occupancy expected in October of this year. An electrician is shown working among the many pipes in the ceiling. Ohio State Moose Association is funding the renovation and future operating cost.
As part of "Nursing Home Week" (honoring our nurses), "Tacky Tuesday", May 16, produced the special dress of the resident and staffers shown. Mary Jane Preston is Life Care Center Activities Director. David Rolison is Life Care Center Administrator.
