Moosehaven residents J.R. Redman and Virginia Bullcroft greeted a well-dressed young witch.
Judy Kelly donned a gypsy costume to hand out treats to young visitors.
Lois Hammer handed a treat to one brightly-clad young tyke who visited in his wheelchair.
Rosa Saudad reached into her own jack-o-lantern to pick out a treat for one of Moosehaven's youngest Halloween visitors.
In 2007, Moosehaven Executive Director John Capes invited the parents of Orange Park, FL to bring their young ghosts, goblins, princesses and superheroes to the safe, welcoming environment of Moosehaven to do their trick-or-treating.
The appreciative parents of roughly 100 youngsters responded; both the kids and Moosehaven's seniors had a wonderful time.
This fall, the same invitation went out, and nearly 200 children and their moms and dads showed up on Friday evening, Oct. 31.
As in 2007, many Moosehaven seniors also dressed in Halloween costumes to hand out treats to the kids on the front porches of their residences.
