Located on approximately 10 acres of the Moosehaven campus, Brandon Place offers full independent living as a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Brandon Place residents live in well-appointed homes, many on the St. Johns River, others with a river view.  Phase I consists of 42 one- and two-bedroom duplex homes.  The St. Johns Apartments, which are in a pre-sale phase, will offer 20 one and two bedroom apartments. 

Brandon Place residents embrace an exciting lifestyle at Moosehaven.  No longer do they have to worry about home and yard maintenance.  Twenty-four-hour security, along with the gated campus and emergency call system brings a peace of mind—whether they are at home or are traveling.  Campus activities, services, and events ensure an active lifestyle through making new friends, and enhancing physical and mental activities.

Homes include all kitchen appliances, washer/dryer, cable TV, window coverings, a home-security system and an emergency call system. Those who reserve their homes early are offered choices of cabinet style, countertops, hardware, carpeting, and tile.  Moosehaven provides all home maintenance.

The St. Johns Apartment Building will be constructed as soon as pre-sale goals are met; a priority deposit of $1,000 will start the process of meeting those goals and enable you to choose your particular home first.

The Brandon Place Club House, located on Astor Street, offers Brandon Place residents the opportunity to hold parties and events, meetings, luncheons, and a convenient location for socializing.   Featuring a full-size kitchen and wide-open rooms, it can also be used for private family and social events.

Residents at Brandon Place pay an Entrance Fee at the time they move in.  This one-time fee is based on the size and the location of the home they choose.  An on-going Monthly Fee is then required and the amount is based on the size of the home.  These two fees assure the resident that their future care will be provided at Moosehaven, if and when needed.  This pre-planning move alleviates the fears of making difficult decisions later for both spouses and family members. In the meantime, Brandon Place residents continue to manage their own financial accounts and investments.

Applicants must be at least age 65, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose or Women of the Moose, be able to live independently, and be financially qualified.  Please contact the Marketing office at Brandon Place for more information and current fees.
